About the author

ko shin Bob Hanson lives and writes in east central Wisconsin, outside the village of Neshkoro. A Poet, Writer, Grandfather of 12, peace and justice activist, ko shin loves life and the earth. A retired clergy, practitioner of Zen Buddhism and a volunteer in the Milwaukee Zen Center Meditation Prison Program, working in four prisons each month, he and his wife Karen are part of the Parliament of World Religions Community and work locally, regionally and globally on issues of understanding, justice and peace amongst all spiritual paths. This book, its poems and photographs are a reflection of ko shin's journey and his gratitude for all beings. He is grateful that his dear friends and colleagues have offered their muses as well.
