INSCRIBED by Tom Clark on the title page: "For Bill Beckman / Love Tom / NYC 1967." (? 1967) Clark's first book of poetry, inscribed to the artist Bill Beckman, one of the founders of the East Village Other. One of 500 copies featuring a collection of poems. Great cover art by Joe Brainard.

Tom Clark (1941-2018) was a prolific author and a former poetry editor of the Paris Review. Signed copies of this book are uncommon. SCARCE SIGNED.

CONDITION: Near Fine, with a bit of soiling to the wrappers but internally clean and unmarked.
