From the publisher

Ted Pedersen began his literary career writing programs for computers in Seattle before making the long trek south to Los Angeles, where he switched to writing for the even weirder world of television. His most recent credits include the animated series X-Men, Spider-Man, Skysurfer Strike Force, and ExoSquad. His second Deep Space Nine young adult novel, Gypsy World, has just been published, and he is currently writing the script for an interactive multimedia game. When not surfing the net, Ted lives in Venice, California with his wife, Phyllis, and an accumulation of cats and computers.

Mel Gilden has written two adult novels in the Star Trek universe, Boogeymen and The Starship Trap, plus the Deep Space Nine young adult book, The Cardassian Imps. He's the author of many books for kids, most recently the My Brother Blubb series, and his latest hardcover, The Pumpkins of Time. In his spare time, he's written animated cartoons and hosted radio shows. He lives in Los Angeles, California.

Ted and Mel previously teamed up to write the Deep Space Nine novel, The Pet, as well as the Cybersurfers novels, Pirates on the Internet, Cyberspace Couwboy, and Cybercops & Flame Wars.
