Sterling condition softcover copy, with unfurled tips, tight binding, and clean internals, showing only very slight shelf- and edge-wear. Staple-bound, fine illustration stamped to front cover, and then with a number of other fine black-and-white photographs. Four thousand copies produced, but still relatively scarce in the trade. Comprises a catalogue for an exhibition opened March 3, 1937, preceded by an Introduction on Pre-Columbian art of Peru, with extensive information on textiles. Features works of pottery, goblets, huacos, and objects in gold, silver and wood, as well as textiles and the fabric arts, including woolen products.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
