London: HMSO - Her Majesty's Stationery Office 1959. 4to. 2 volumes + map box. cxxix, 136, [+ 197 plates]; xviii, 137-480, [+ 198-310 plates] pp. Two volumes are grey-green cloth with gilt Royal crest and lettering to boards and spines in illustrated jackets; grey green cloth map clamshell box with gilt lettering to panels. All in a card box, which is quite worn and stained, with slight splitting to edges. Minor marks to jackets. Minor marks to joints and edges. Minimal spotting to fore-edges and minimally to endpapers, otherwise internally clean. Black & white illustrations throughout, diagrams, maps etc., including several fold-outs. Map box also has marks and slight wear to panels, with minor spots to some of the maps inside. A full survey and inventory of earthworks, Roman remains, University, College, Ecclesiastical and Secular buildings and monuments in Cambridge. . Near Fine. Gilt Decorated Cloth. First Edition. 1959.

Courier services available. We are also able to offer same day delivery within London postcodes for some orders - ask for a quote. Valuable items will be sent via registered airmail or one of the courier services. Large orders can be sent via consolidation, which reduces the cost per book. In the unlikely event of an incorrect description, a full refund will be provided, but please e-mail/telephone first, and within seven days of receipt of the book. We are happy to comply to the EU's rules on distance selling. All books are published in London and 8vo unless stated, and remain my property until paid for in full.
