New York: Atheneum, 1974. Book. Very Good+. Hardcover. Signed by Author(s). Stated First Edition.. Stated First Edition, SIGNED by the author, in clean unclipped dust jacket. Clean blue paper-covered boards with green cloth spine, unchipped gold lettering on cover and spine. Fading to top and bottom of blue board edges. No bumping or wear. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. Pages and edges are clean with clean endpapers - no previous owner markings. Inscribed and signed by the author on half-tite page: "For Al - from his friend and client - Ken Davis, Jan. 1978." Based on the recollections of Marion Dickerman (Eleanor's confidante), this book is lavishly illustrated with photographs (candid snapshots and home movie stills, taken by Nancy Cook, another close friend of the Roosevelt family who figures prominently in Miss Dickerman's reminiscences. Most were published first here in this book. 176 pages + "About the Author". Clean dust jacket is not price clipped, one very shallow chip at top edge of rear panel, a few short closed edge tears; enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover..
