About This Item
London: Derek Verschoyle, 1954. Hardcover. Good/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 360 pages, appendix, notes, bibliography, index; foreword by H. Montgomery Hyde .The jacket suffers from loss, at the edges, at the tail of the front cover and at the spine tail of the spine where about half is missing. The boards are chipped at the edges, with some of the green cloth missing at the tail. The fore-edge is very lightly foxed, and apart from a neat ownership signature, the body of the book is clean, unmarked and solid, though obviously used. "Paul Blanshard, in The Irish and Catholic Power, has tackled not only the Partition question, but also that of the role of the Catholic Church." (Commentary)
