About This Item
Da Capo Press, 1998. Soft cover. Very Good. This Da Capo Press paperback edition of Iron Coffins is an unabridged republication of the edition first published in New York in 1969. Foreword by Captain Edward L. Beach USN Ret. Herbert A. Werner, one of the few surviving German U-boat commanders, served on five submarines from 1941 to 1945. This volume is his memoir of those days. At the top of the pages at the end of the work there is some discoloration. All in all, a quite presentable copy, available for immediate shipment, carefully packed!
