(Tannersville, NY): Tideline Press, 1976. Three oblong 16mo volumes. (12); (12); (12)ff. One of twenty-six deluxe, lettered copies. Signed by the author, as well as by the illustrator, Elaine Scull, and the printer and designer, Leonard Seastone. The trilogy consists of Pioneers, The Cavalryman, and The Island Hunter. Each begins with a two-page spread as a title page, incorporating the text into a forested vista, with elements hand-illuminated. Each volume bound in paper over boards with illustration stamped in blind. Light sunning to spine, else fine. Housed in dropback box.
