Originally issued in 1907 (from the author's travel journal of 1744), which was for private distribution and was a small edition by A. B. Hart. Dr. Hamilton was a Scottish physician living in colonial Maryland. Gilt titles and decorations are bright. Decorated end-papers. One very large fold-out map, in FLAWLESS condition, at rear. Index at rear. Clean, tight, no markings at all. 263 pages. The original manuscript is in the Huntington Library. Hard to find title.
