About This Item
Hardcover edition, published by Grosset & Dunlap. Originally published in 1935 by William Penn & Company, this is a reprint edition. Loring titles from 1922 to 1937 were first published by William Penn, and later reprinted by Grosset starting in 1961. So even though the only date listed is 1925, this copy is one of the later reprint editions since it is a Grosset & Dunlap copy. In this story Eve Travis is married to Jeff Kilburn, but it's more of a marriage of convenience than love, what will Eve do when she finds out about the woman that Jeff really loves ? The dust jacket is intact, it is not price clipped. Jacket has edge wear, a large chip to the top right front - a 1" X 1" square chip at that top right corner, edge wear to the head and heel of the spine as well. The jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Blue cloth covered boards, with the title and author imprinted on the spine and front cover in black. Some light edge wear to the head and heel of the spine. There is a date and initials written on the top right corner of the first flyleaf - no further writing besides that though. Binding is tight and square. Dark blue top stain does not appear to be faded, Not a remainder, not a library discard. Nice vintage style cover design! We have several Loring titles listed. The attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory.
