Smaller book, brown cloth with elaborate illustration of fisherman with man netting his huge catch, title, author and publisher in bright gilt on front, near fine gilt on spine, 374 lightly browned pages plus list of publisher's books. Neat ink Christmas note with date (1890) on browned first front end paper, damage to inner back hinge, some illustrations. Slight surface wear to front long edge and spine edges, very slight surface wear to book tips and long spine edges, tiny dent on long front edge. Near Very Good.
