Black cloth covered boards with yellow design on front cover and yellow titling to spine, in a clear plastic dustjacket with titing in grey on front panel, and housed in the publisher's plain cardboad slipcase. Some light uneven toning or sunning to slipcase, with one bump to top corner of case at opening. Some very light rubbing to dustjacket. Head of spine of jacket is lightly torn, with 25 x 90 mm chip to tail of rear panel of jacket. No visible wear to book itself, which is in near fine condition. Original black cloth, spine lettered in yellow, yellow design printed to upper board, yellow endpapers. Original glassine dust-jacket, printed in white, with publisher's insignia in white to rear panel. Top edge of front panel of dust-jacket missing, top edge of rear panel and bottom edge of front panel torn. A fine copy in a good dust-jacket. 105 pages of reproductions of Arp's work mainly in black and white, with some in colour. Volume one of the catalogue raisonné of the artist's work. Very good Arp joined the Blaue Reiter group of Expressionist artists in 1912, where he became acquainted with Wassily Kandinsky and Robert Delauney.
