Gutekunst's 1890 phototype "Jefferson Davis and the Confederate Generals." Xviii pp prelim material, 217 numbered pp, plus 16 pp glossy b&w illus/photos, plus five blank end. Eight chapters from different contributors on aspects of Davis and the CSA war effort; notes, bibliography, index. Condition notes: Clean and unmarked but for pencilled price on front free endpaper; spine ends rolled, corners bumped, spine cocked slightly off square, limited soiling to fore- and tail-edges; dj free of tears or chips.
