The volume Second term 1805-1809 has a tear and crease on the cover, there is a piece of tape on the back side of the tear, with other small tears that don't have tape. The DJ spines of the sage of monticello, the Rights of Man, First Term, and the Ordeal of Liberty are sun faded discoloring the spine. The edges and corners of all DJ's have some light rubbing. Pages are clean. Stock photos may not look exactly like the book.

Jackets all have varying degree of sun fading on spine, otherwise are glossy with very little wear. Only real flaw is a .5" tear on bottom front edge of jacket on Volume 6. A very nice set overall. Books that sell for $9 or more ship in a box; under $9 in a bubble mailer. Expedited and international orders may ship in a flat rate envelope rather than a box due to cost constraints.
