Kenneth Cragg is a distinguished scholar of Islamic and Christian studies. His many books on the Qur'an and Arab Christianity, including 'the event of the Qur'an' and 'Muhammad and the Christian' ( both also published by Oneworld), have become classics in their field. Bishop Cragg obtained his doctorate at Oxford University and has served in academic and ecclesiastical posts in Jersualem, Beirut, Cairo, Nigeria and the USA.
