Specisl B&N edition of the John Carter books by Burroughs. This edition contains "A Princess of Mars", "The Gods of Mars", "The Warlord of Mars", "Thuvia, Maid of Mars", "The Chessmen of Mars". John Carter first traveled to Mars in the February, 1912 issue of "All-Story Magazine" as a character in the first installment of the serial "Under The Moon of Mars"; it appeared under the nom-de-plume of "Norman Bean" (Burroughs actually signed the manuscript submission with that name but never used a pseudonym again).
