Beautiful signed binding by Wood of London (polished calf with five raised bands and attractive decorations in the compartments). First Edition. Extra-illustrated by the insertion of about 80 etched and engraved plates by Leech, Cruikshank, Rowlandson, Browne, and others, including many in color. From the library of noted book collector Sydney Ross but without any indication to that effect.
