First edition limited to 295 numbered copies after a signed issue of 50 copies. This is copy #21 from the library of author Anita Loos with her lovely color pictorial bookplate a-fixed to front paste-down. Fine in black buckram. A distinctive book sticker from Stanley Roses' Satyr Bookshop a-fixed to rear paste-down. Rose's shop was the inspiration for Geiger's Bookstore in Raymond Chandler's "The Big Sleep." A remarkably well preserved association copy in this scarce issue. ; 6 1/2" x 9 1/2"; 313 pages .
