Slightest bit of mild edgewear; spine a tad rough. Handsome, clean, tight copy. Articles include Dayton W. Canaday's "Voice of the Wilderness of 1847," Charles V. Darrin's "Robert Todd Lincoln and a Family Friendship," Carroll H. Quenzel's "Books for the Boys in Blue," John H. Hauberg's "Hard Times in Illinois in 1780" and Harry E. Pratt's "A Beginner on the Old Eighth Judicial Circuit." From the collection of noted Lincoln and Civil War scholar ARNOLD F. GATES (1914-93).
