About This Item

State Historical Society of Wisconsin, 1916. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good. First printing, very good blue cloth hardcover (no dust jacket if issued) with gilt letter to spine shows mild soil and rubbing to covers, heavier rubbing to cover edges and corners, bumping to cover corners, mild soil at page edges, bookplate at top corner of front pastedown, small tear at top of front hinge and some other mild shelf and trace wear, else tight and clean. 444 pages with index, black & whites and couple of foldout maps. Still a solid copy of this notable work that makes up an installment (XXII) in the publications of the state historical society of Wisconsin.
