Blue cloth with gilt title on spine, 444 pages, illustrations, frontispiece, fold-out map of the route of Lewis and Clark, 24cm tall, octavo. Published as volume xxii in the Wisconsin Historical Publications Collections. Copyright page stamped "Cumberland Free Library", no other markings. Corners show light wear, rear cover has several small light spots, possibly from insect activity (photo). Clean and good binding.
