The text is illustrated with 35 illustrations, of which two are in colour. Tan coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the backstrip. Colour illustrated dustwrapper black and white coloured titles to the front panel and black coloured titles to the backstrip. The author's autobiography with musical interludes. Rubbing of the backstrip edges and corners. Browning with scattered box into the text block edges and endpapers. Original bookseller's sticker to the lower right hand corner of the front paste-down and age toning of the pages. Little chipping to the dust at the corners and top backstrip edge. Sunning to this front dustwrapper edges and backstrip. Rubbing of the dustwrapper. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 238, [2] pages,. Dust Jacket price-clipped.
