About This Item
London: Arthur Barker, 1939. 8vo, pp. 290. Original black boards, lettered in white on spine. Slight foxing to endpapers and text block, not affecting pages. Pictorial dustwrapper, the slightest chipping to head of spine, one very small chip to top edge of rear panel, mild edgewear. A near fine copy in an unclipped, near fine wrapper. First edition. Satirical romp through pre-war London nightlife. An unknown title by a forgotten author, in lovely condition. Perfect.
