Book Condition: Very Good -: light wear to head, tail, tips, and board bottoms from shelving. DJ: Very Good; NOT Price Clipped ($7.50); edge bumps; light wear at spine edges and flap folds. Black buckram boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine. 373 pp 8vo. Not a true memoir, the book is based on the authors true experiences at the end of WWII with the coming holocaust of the Russian Army invading and ravishing Germany as payback for the invasion of Russia. All of vilest evils of which man is capable are portrayed in Nazi, Communist, Jew, underground fighter, and racist are portrayed yet beyond the ugliest details are always hints of the dedicated values the author is convinced will always survive. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.

New York: Vantage Press, 1971 373pp. Tips and spine ends are bumped and lightly rubbed. Edges of text block are lightly dust stained and lightly foxed. Foredge of text block has a light stain near top tip. Spine is lightly shaken and lightly cocked. Boards have a few light scratches and exhibit edgewear. Inside of boards and endpapers are lightly sunned along edges. Front endpaper has a light crease at top tip. Inside of right board has a tiny surface tear at foredge. Rear hinge has a tiny stains. Rear endpaper has a couple light stains and a light crease at top tip. Many pages have a light crease at top tip. Pages are toned. Inside of jacket is sunned and has a few light stains. Jacket has light creases and a few tiny tears along edges. Spine heel has light chipping. Lower edge of spine heel has a 1" vertical tear. Tips of flaps are clipped. Jacket is sunned. Spine panel is heavily sunned. Text is unmarked. . First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Minus/Very Good Minus Jacket.
