Unclipped ($19.99) jacket is likewise as new and protected with removal mylar cover. Inscribed by author on half title page and sigend by author on title page. Julian of Norwich (c. 1343 - after 1416), wrote the earliest surviving works in the English language (Revalations of Divine Love) by a woman. Her work was done while an anchoress (someone who for religious reasons withdraws from society to lead a life guided by prayer). As such, she lived in permanent seclusion in a cell attached to St. Julian's Church, Norwich. 5.5x8.5 in. 147 pg.
