London: Swan, Sonnenschein & Co, 1892. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Edited and arranged by Harry Quilter. With forty four designs invented, drawn and written by Lawrence Housman. Edition of 1000 copies, with 100 copies on Van Gelder paper, bound in vellum and gold. Bound in light coloured paper boards with lettering and designs in red. Spine and board edges age-toned, with light bumping to spine head and foot. Light offsetting to endpapers, text clean throughout and binding tight and square, with trace foxing. Clean copy. Attractive book. Nice illustrations.
