Macon, Ga.: J. W. Burke Company, 1920. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good. FIRST EDITION Original issue, NOT a facsimile; A Near Very Good hard to find early Twentieth Century volume. Georgia author and journalist (part owner of the Macon Evening Newspaper). Original issue, bound in black cloth with gilt title. Spine cloth worn, but complete.Two 1/2" circular marks impact authors name on front cover. Half-title page appears repaired at gutter. Mildly age-toned margins/ one page corner tip creased. Clean and tight text. Unpaginated. Last page lists authors back titles ("Eneas Africanus" among titles, issued same year as this title), and retail price at time of publishing.Author wrote several pro-slavery fantasies, which were poular in the South. He had a weekly column in the Atlanta Journal from 1922 - 1938. Difficult to find in the original issue. Approx. 5" x 7" H. Protected in a mylar slip.
