She also wrote another fifteen other stand alone mysteries. wrote In the sale item, Kaleidoscope, she goes back to a character she created in 1975, Madame Karitska. Stated first edition with full number line. Green paper boards with green cloth at spine; Silver lettering on spine only. Binding is slightly cocked at spine; otherwise clean and bright but minor glue residue inside boards. Unclipped dust jacket is bright and clean, fine except for bumping at spine. 244 pages.

Synopsis

Dorothy Gilman is the author of fourteen Mrs. Pollifax novels, including The Unexpected Mrs. Pollifax (the series debut), Mrs. Pollifax Pursued , Mrs. Pollifax and the Lion Killer , Mrs. Pollifax, Innocent Tourist , and Mrs. Pollifax Unveiled . She is also the author of many other novels, among them Thale’s Folly . She lives in Westport, Connecticut. From the Hardcover edition.
