"In presenting this collection of some of the most beautiful drawings by Kate Greenaway, from those given by her to John Ruskin, and from other sources, it is necessary to state that after careful search it is believed that none of them have hitherto been published, with the exception of the drawing presented by her to John Ruskin, on his Birthday in 1887."
Condition:
Clean covers and spine with no stains; sharp corners. Tight binding. No loose pages. Crack at front hinge between the end papers and title page and at the rear hinge between 2 blank end paper. The pages are in great condition - clean and white with no writing, foxing or tears found; one piece of tissue paper has some light ink smudging...no other staining found. Nice dust jacket - some very light soiling to the covers; 1" tear at top edge; 1.5" tear at bottom edge.
