Bound in black cloth covered boards and wrapped in an illustrated paper dustjacket. Inscribed by the artist "For Ray Redding, Keith Carter 1997" on the half title page along with a small sketch of a spiraling snake. Minor rubbing and wear to the dustjacket from shelving, although now encased in a Mylar sleeve. Brilliantly and handsomely printed, this is an exceptional and sensitive overview of a staggeringly history of magical and poetic images..
