London and New York: Macmillan and Co., 1981. Presumed First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 7 1/2" X 5 1/4. Khaled stood in the first heaven... 258 pp. plus 2 pp. of Messrs. MacMillan and Co.'s Publications. Blue buckram boards have stamped line decorations, as well as, gilt stamped author's monogram on front, blind stamped publisher's colophon on rear and gilt text on spine. Book was printed in Edinburgh but end-fo-book ads list book prices in $. Spine ends are rubbed and scuffed as are corners. Sticker remnant near tail of spine and book is ever so slightly cocked. fon blacked out at top of front pastedown. A very nice book to hold. Digital images available on request.
