About This Item

New York: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1997 Lee Child (1954-) was born in England but now makes his home in New York. He is famous for his Jack Reacher novels, over twenty and counting. The sale volume is his first. Full number line with no additional printings listed. White paper boards with red cloth at spine; knife point in black at top of board. Binding tight and square, clean and bright with minor bumping at spine. Unclipped dust jacket has some minor bumping but no tears. Dust jacket does not carry a price, only the isbn number, so this is a probable book club. 359 pages.

Synopsis

When Jack Reacher suddenly decides to ask a Greyhound bus driver to let him off near the town of Margrave, Georgia, he thinks it's because his brother once mentioned that the famed blues guitarist Blind Blake died there. But it doesn't take long for the footloose ex-military policeman to discover that there are plenty of strange--and very dangerous--things going on behind Margrave's manicured lawns and clean streets that demand his attention.
