Hardcover. 8vo - 21.5 x 15 cm.; 269 pp. A fictional story of a civil war breaking out in the 1970s between Canada and Separatist Quebec. Written by the author as a warning to Canadians to not assume a civil war couldn't happen here. I first thought this book was non-fiction, in part based on the appendices about the dispositions of various armies, a lot of realism here. Red cloth-covered boards with black spine lettering. Minor wear on boards; binding sturdy, text clean. Dust jacket is lightly soiled with a bit of chipping. .

Clean pages with light tanning and mild foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Pencil markings to front free endpaper. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Lettering is bright and clear. Boards are bowed. Minor wear marks to boards. Unclipped jacket. Panels and spine have moderate edgewear with chips, tears and creases. Moderate tear to spine. Visible wear marks to spine and panels.
