Offsetting to the endpapers, else near fine in darkened and lightly stained, near very good, price-clipped dustwrapper. The author's first book. Inscribed by the author to the widow of author James Jones at a later date: "For Gloria Jones an old book, newly signed with gratitude & all good wishes. George Garrett 15 March 83." Additionally Signed in different ink, possibly at an earlier date, with a sentiment on the title page: "Too much ugly talk? George Garrett.
