Chicago: W. B. Conkey Company. Very Good. 1902. Hardcover. Ella Wilcox 91850-1919) was an American poet and author who was quite popular in her day. This is a book of her poems. There is a frontis photograph of the author. This book has a very pretty decorated cover: maroon cloth covers with gilt and green cover and spine decorations depicting roses with green leaves and intertwined thorny stems. The rear cover has three small indentations to the lower corner (the rear is not decorated), ahd there is mild shelf wear to the edges, else this is a clean, tight, and unmarked book with no owner names or bookplates. ; Frontis Portrait; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 160 pages .
