Blue embssd boards, w/ colour-illust. open-backd slipcase (mnr shlfwr), NF/VG copy. First edition of this wonderfully rendered book illustrating the Hought Shah-nameh, one of the jewels of Persian art, and believed to be a more complete set of colourful, carefully executed miniatures by court artists than any other Islamic manuscript.
