**Signed by A. A. Milne, E. H. Shepard and H. Fraser-Simson**
Published by Methuen, London; 1925. This extremely rare copy of the King's Breakfast by the ever-popular author of Winnie the Pooh is in Very Good condition, smartly bound in original boards, with green binding and protected in a plastic sleeve for protection. The book is part of a limited edition print run of just 100 copies, making it incredibly rare and hard to come by, with only a couple of copies currently available online for sale. It is numbered 56 of 100, and is signed by A. A. Milne, E. H. Shepard, and the music composer, H. Fraser-Simon.
There is a very small amount of bumping and chipping to the edges and a red mark to the front board. There is some rubbing and some small loss to the boards on the rear cover. The title label is affixed to the front board and shows some slight toning. These are very minor points and the binding is very smart and tidy condition. Inside, the pages are clean and bright and in excellent condition. There is just some minor toning to the pages, particularly the title page, and some slight chipping to the edges corresponding to that of the boards, but these are the only issues to note at all.
This beautiful book is incredibly collectible and would be the perfect accompaniement to any Milne and Winnie the Pooh book collection. Copies such as this are very hard to come by, particularly in such good condittion, and something to treasure for a lifetime. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions regarding this rare book.

New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1922. Signed and Numbered First. Hardcover. Very Good with no dust jacket/No Dustjacket. From the signed, limited, numbered first printing, this is number 266, signed by the author at the limitation page opposite the full title. The pages are bright saving some toning around the deckled edges and quite clean except for a very few scattered spots of foxing; no owners' marks; the quarter cloth binding leans gently to the right but remains tight; the paper boards and paper title plate at the spine show some chipping around the edges, with a pressure mark at the bottom right front corner, a small inward turn and surface scuff at the top left rear corner, and some surface creasing at the corners and right edge of the title plate; some fading is also evident along the head edges of the paper and along the right rear, and the title plate is age-toned; nonetheless, a remarkably clean and attractive book, well-preserved. 459pp.; an extra copy of the title plate is tipped in at the…

Description:
New York: The Limited Editions Club. Fine. 1990. Limited Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. My Sister Life was written in the summer before the 1917 October Revolution, it was very well received and established him as a genius of Russian poetry. The English translation was done by Mark Rudman. The acclaimed Russian born artist, Yuro Kuyper provides 6 etchings for the publication, printed on Hannemule paper in Paris. The paper used for the text was hand-made by H. M. P. Mill in Connecticut to resemble the sort of stock produced in 1920's Russia, even incorporating bits of Russain newspapers with rags and cotton pulp. The book is in near fine condition, with the only defect being some sunning to the spinea. The slipcase in VG or better, showing some sunning. The book is signed by Yuri Kuyper and this copy is #212 of 250. The original LEC invoice for $4000 laid in; Etching; Folio 13" - 23" tall; Signed by Illustrator .

Description:
London: Victor Gollancz, 1980. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Fine/Fine. Exquisite first edition of this important work of Soviet science fiction, signed by both of the Strugatsky brothers. A symbolically complex novel whose parallel narratives deal with intertwined themes of (bureaucratic) order and (natural) chaos on an alien world dominated by a seemingly endless forest. In an essay included as afterword to the 2018 translation published by University of Chicago Press, Boris Strugatsky acknowledged this as the brothers' "most complete and important work." Nonetheless, the work had a troubled early history, with its suggestive ambiguities earning the ire of censors in Russia, where for decades it could only be found in heavily expurgated forms. Samizdat copies, meanwhile, made their way to the West, allowing for translations of the complete text such as this one by Alan Meyers. First British (and first hardcover) edition. Signed by both Arkady and Boris Strugatsky on the front free…
