About This Item
Hodder & Stoughton, London, 1953. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/Poor. 221 pages (complete). Manning Coles was the pen-name of two writers (neighbours), Adelaide Manning and Cyril Coles. Coles had ample experience in British Intelligence and at the Foreign Office - hence their main protagonist is a spy who works for MI5. This is a Hambledon (their main man) thriller. The dustjacket is wistfully secure. It has wear about all edges and seams. It is scuffed and marked. It is benign. The boards and contents are smart and tidy. The pages are clean, clear, tight, confident and companionable. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
