First appearing as a letter titled, "Progress or Revolution?," Smith's letter to an unknown "labour friend" discussing the relationship between labour and capital under the industrial system and advocates for a peaceful resolution to its ongoing tension rather than violent revolution or class war. An about Fine copy with some negligible foxing to endpapers; in the scarce dust jacket, which is slightly soiled and chipped to spine ends with a ½" x 4" sliver missing from the top rear panel.
