Scott. In the publisher's original blue cloth. A charming historical novel, set during the reign of Henry VIII following Cicely and the man she has loved since childhood, and featuring the Pilgrimage of Grace. Written by Sir Henry Rider Haggard, an English writer of adventure fiction romances set in exotic locations and a pioneer of the lost world literary genre. In the publisher's original cloth. Externally very smart with fading to the spine, bumping and slight rubbing to the extremities and rubbing to the joints. Offsetting to the free endpapers. Front hinge starting after front blank. Internally firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages with the odd minor handling mark and very light spotting to the half title. Very Good
