AN EDUCATION IN PLEASURE

Married young to a man hand-picked by her father, Elizabeth Petre is an ideal Victorian lady. She has borne two sons and endured sixteen years of selfless duty in a passionless marriage. Craving a man's loving touch yet loyal to her wedding vows, Elizabeth is determined to seduce her coldly indifferent husband. She knows of only one man who can teach her the erotic secrets of love.

A LESSON IN LOVE

The bastard son of an English countess and an Arab sheik, Ramiel Devington was reared to embrace both Western culture and Eastern pleasure. Scorned by society and challenged by prim Elizabeth's request, he undertakes her instruction in the art of sensual delight. But when the lessons become a temptation neither can resist, Elizabeth is forced to choose between obligation and a bold, forbidden passion...

About the author

My life has been ruled by...dinosaurs...romance...and sex.

You are no doubt asking yourself, What do dinosaurs have to do with romance and/or (gasp) sex? No, I am not into bestiality. It's really quite simple. You see...

When I was six years old, my mother took me to see a double matinee. One movie was about dinosaurs, which I loved, and the other was a sappy romance (or so I thought at the time), which she loved.

Well, it took a few years, but I finally decided there is something to that man-woman stuff. I read my first romance novel at the age of 12 (These Old Shades by Georgette Heyer), and I read my first erotic novel when I was 15 (The Way of a Maid by Mario Clement). Now I write...erotic romance books.

Where does my love of dinosaurs fit into all this? Archaeology (or paleontology, for you etymologists out there). Which in turn led me to explore ancient cultures. Think India...and Tantra, the Indian cult of ecstasy. Or in modern history, think Arabia...and The Perfumed Garden of Sensual Delight, an Arabic treatise on erotic love.

See if you can match my titles below with the research material I used to write them: Awaken, My Love; The Pearl (an underground erotic); The Lady's Tutor; Tantra; A Lady's Pleasure Captivated; and The Perfumed Garden of Cheikh Nefzaoui.
