Paris: Charles Carrington, 1901. Hardcover. Very Good. First edition. Octavo. xii, 421, [1 ad] pp. Text in French. Bound with wrappers into red leather gilt and marbled paper over boards. Small library bookplate on front pastedown. Binding heavily edgeworn, spine toned with neatly repaired short splits at the ends, boards with horizontal creasing near the bottom edge (causing a thin split to the marbled paper on the lower board), wrappers and adjacent pages tanned, very good; the binding has nicely preserved the wrappers and text. Copy 305 of 750 printed. The text has been ascribed to Louis Jacolliot.
