LONDON: BOOK CLUB ASSOCIATES. Book Club edition. Hard cover with illustrated dust jacket. Small tear on top corner edge of DJ. Some moderate surface damage to edge of front flap and front pastedown from partial removal of a Garfield sticky label(the remains of which are still present). Light blue boards. Small red dot on the front pastedown and half title page(which is slightly sticky). NB: Large letter 'D' on back pastedown in crayon. This usually indicates damage in transit, but the book does not not appear to be damaged other than the second hand flaws noted in this description. The final Narnia novel. Jacket art and interior black and white illustrations by Pauline Baynes. NB: The Jacket art is not the same as that of the First Edition. Location: G6/T Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall . Good. Hardcover. REPRINT.. 1981.
Synopsis
The Last Battle is the final book in the Narnia series. Eustace and Jill have spent many years away from Narnia, and are suddenly and violently returned to help the once glorious land face it's darkest hour. The King, a Unicorn, and the few loyal subjects that remain stand to face the darkness and decide the fate of Narnia.
