London: Harrap, 1925. First Edition. Hard Cover. (London: George Harrap 1925). First UK Edition. Publisher's blue boards with black lettering to the spine and author, title and publisher's logo blind-stamped to the front board (which also has a blind-stamped border). A VG+ copy without dustwrapper. No inscriptions. A book of tennis instruction from the great French tennis player of the 1920's who revolutionised women's tennis with her powerful game and fashion sense. She was one of the sporting icons of the 1920s and was a darling of French society. She won Wimbledon six times. Rare. Photographs/scans available upon request.
