Roberts Brothers, 1884. Hardcover. Very Good. . The popular hymn written in 1833 by Saint John Henry Newman, an English theologian and poet was was a leader of the Oxford Movement. Bound in polished tree calf with gilt decoration and raised bands, cover shows minor wear and rubbing, slight loss to the crown. Marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. Profusely illustrated; drawn and engraved under the supervision of George T. Andres by William St. John Harper and George R. Halm. With minor scattered foxing.
