First thus, an expanded edition of Woodward's 1927 republishing of John Gerard's 1597 "Herball Or General Historie Of Plantes". Includes 130 illustrations after the original woodcuts. Edge of block dulled and spotted, but internally pages generally in good order throughout. Green boards however are marked, worn and a little bowed, so best regarded as a reading copy. This is a charity sale for Friends Of Morston Church (reg.1099831). xii, 308pp
