Slightly sunstruck; fine in a lightly rubbed, laminated dust jacket with a touch of wear to edges and extremities; remnant of a phone number written on the rear panel.. 8vo, 467pp; peach cloth. Motley wrote this novel in Mexico as a sequel to his 1947 debut Knock on Any Door. Laid into this copy is a presentation card from Columbia Pictures Corporation with the facsimile signature of producer Charles Schnee who had produced the film adaptation of "Knock on Any Door" and was preparing an adaptation of this novel.
