Tan and orange cloth hardcover book with blue lettering and blue illustration on front cover. Illustrated endpapers. Untrimmed page edges. 245 pages. Illustrated with drawings by the author. NEAR FINE book in VERY GOOD - dust jacket. Book is Fine except for two small faint stains/smudges at the bottom edge of the front cover, one tiny faint stain at the top edge of the front cover, one small very faint stain on rear cover near spine, very faint foxing along the top edge of the text block and some browning inside the gutters of the front and rear boards. Otherwise, bright, clean and unworn with no sunning or bumping. Tight and square, with strong, secure joints with no cracking to the inner hinges. Outstanding interior with just typical age-toning to the pages and a few small light smudges at the margins of the first five text pages and otherwise practically flawless. No previous owner signature. Dust jacket has chipping to the spine ends and top and bottom edges of the front and rear panels with one large 2" x 1" chip at the top edge of the front panel with loss of lettering in the author's name. 2-inch-long thin liquid stain on the rear panel along the spine fold. Only slight sun-fading of the spine but with some discoloration. Jacket is otherwise bright, clean and unworn and is protected in a mylar cover..
