No. 40. January 2, 1824. Ordered to lie on the table. Fold-Out tables showing statements of military accounts unsettled with name and rank, and remarks from the third auditor and agent of the treasury. At beginning of report is complete index of Executive Reports at the First Session of the Eighteenth Congress. Book was removed from the Library of the House of Representatives of the United States: bookplate from the Library of the House of Representatives and cursive ink writing on front cover, title bars indicating library ownership on spine, blue ink stamp from House Library on front page of index and also appears on the back of many fold-out tables throughout book. Leather covers in Fair condition with corners bumped and rubbed to boards, edges rubbed, cover faces soiled and dirty, large water spot on back cover, blue '3' written at bottom of front cover. Spine title bars in gilt lettering. Spine has scuffing and small tears, spine ends are bumped and rubbed. Library stamp on top page edge. Endpapers are browning and heavily foxed, '95' written in black ink on front free endpaper. Interior pages are browning along edges, foxing. Some creased edges of tables have been worn and have small tears, affecting the typed text inside. Unique book with House of Representatives Library identification.. Leather. Good+.
